A great deal of work has been put into the post-Rosenberg episodes below. Some are standalone episodes without April & Colt. Each tries to be/do/tell something interesting.

004 · THE FORMATION OF ATTITUDES

Learning secrets and losing friends. The effects of Federation propaganda on Colt’s relationships.

005 · A FRAME OF SYMMETRY
A cabal seeking to terminate the Federation manipulates the current political state-of-affairs and solicits high-profile supporters to help roll out their program for managing galactic ecology

006 · A SERVICEABLE VILLAIN
Prophecies spread on a gritty frontier regarding a galaxial killer-army as
Pirates ravage a borderworld with dirty weaponry, seeking a genome, a plant, and the key to immortality. A family unites to fight.

007 · SHAKEDOWN
The Enterprise’s first official shakedown cruise goes horribly wrong when Klingons posing as crew attempt to hijack the vessel; a single cadet averts total catastrophe. An adaptation of John Byrne’s comic.

008 · RESERVATIONS
Hiding out after his recent public humiliation, April is pulled into the action and forced to mediate when unworkable Federation mandates during a refugee crisis threaten Martian Indian Lands

009 · WHERE TRUTH IS CONCERNED
A trusted organization begins a wave of explosive diversions to cover their crimes, while the news media fosters the opportunity to pick an artificial villain and undermine the President.

010 · THE ENTERPRISE
April, Colt, & Poole share dinner and photographs with the Nogura family when the Marcuses drop-in. Drink and drug unveil hidden agendas and the non-sanctioned missions of the Vulcans.

Many other stories have been worked extensively. A loose, multi-year arc has also been framed.

ADDITIONAL STORIES ARE LISTED IN: The PITCH

Telling Final Frontier & The Final Reflection before IDEALS is also a smart consideration.
I’d be happy to apply my interpretation.
